Shoaib Akhtar Biography
Shoaib Akhtar is a former professional cricketer who played testes and One Day International matches for the Pakistan national team in ICC organized events. He has been dubbed as The Rawalpindi Express after the place where he was born and he is arguably the fastest bowler the world of cricket has ever seen, easily clocking 150 km/hour on many occasions. He became the first man to bowl a delivery over 100 miles/hour or 161.3 km/hour, which is the fastest delivery ever bowled in the history of cricket against England. Moreover, not only did he achieve a speed of 100 miles/hour on his delivery, he achieved it twice during one single match and that is something that makes him very unique in the world of fast bowlers. His prowess lay in being able to bowl fast and precise Yorkers as well as quick bouncers and these abilities made him one of the greatest as well as most feared bowlers of all time, the likes of which had not been seen in international cricket since the times of Michael Holding, Joel Garner, Jeff Thompson, Dennis Lillie, Malcolm Marshall and the likes – players who depended on raw pace to pick up wickets.

However, Shoaib Akhtar was also a very controversial figure and it followed him wherever he went. It has been said that he was very selfish and not a team man. The Pakistan team management once sent him home from Australia in the middle of a series because of an alleged poor behavior on his part. In 2006, he was perhaps involved in the biggest controversy when WADA found Shoaib Akhtar guilty of taking performance enhancing drugs and the ICC banned him from playing cricket. This ban was however lifted and he returned to the Pakistan national side the following year and almost immediately, got himself banned by the Pakistan Cricket Board or the PCB for fighting with team mate and fellow opening bowler Mohammad Asif during a training session.

Waseem Akram

Waseem Akram Biography
Wasim Akram born in Lahore, Punjab is a former Pakistani cricketer. He was a left-arm fast bowler and left-handed batsman, who represented the Pakistani cricket team in Tests and One Day Internationals. Widely regarded as one of the finest fast bowlers ever, Akram holds world records for the most wickets taken in both ODIs (502) and List A cricket (881), and was one of the pioneers of reverse swing bowling. The revolutionary nature of reverse swing initially resulted in accusations of ball tampering, although reverse swing has now been accepted as a legitimate feature of the game. Akram's later career was also tarnished with accusations of match fixing, although these remain unproven.

Wasim retired in 2003, after a brief spell with Hampshire in England. Since then, Wasim has taken up commentary and can currently be seen as a sportscaster for the ESPN Star network, and is also running shows on ARY Digital. He is married to Huma Mufti, daughter of Mr. Humayaun Mufti. Wasim and Huma have two sons from their marriage of fourteen years. Wasim has also appeared in Fuzon video as a model.

Shoaib Malik

Shoaib Malik Biography
Shoaib’s reliability was also at stake since he had accepted being married to a Hyderabad girl at Hyderabad on March 30, 2005 before a packed stadium during an India Pakistan match when Arun Lal, well known cricketer and commentator was interviewing him. Before that he had conceded this fact while talking to Geo TV in Pakistan. His team mates even visited the Siddiqui household five years ago.

The second question that arose was that that why should the two (Shoaib-Sania) been in such a tearing hurry to tie the knot. I do not wish to interfere in their personal business but since both are celebrities, they could have easily waited for Shoaib’s name to be cleared in the controversy involving Ayesha Siddiqui. The bravado by the two (Shoaib and Sania) turned out to be without any foundations at the end. There should have been nothing for them to really fear. It would also have come as a matter of relief to Sania’s fans if the person she is marrying was above any kind of suspicion.

His name is yet to be cleared in the match fixing allegations concerning Pakistan’s tour of Australia and New Zealand and since he is a public figure it should be in the fitness of things that he should clear it immediately. Or are they already married as some newspaper reports seem to suggest? Another Pakistan Cricketer Sarfaraz Nawaz has accused Shoaib of selling his country. He has also made other allegations including some related to Sania as well. Why he has not been taken seriously is because he is in the habit of coming out with conspiracy theories. He has even claimed that if Sania belongs to the Kadyani sect, she cannot be acceptable in Pakistan. He should know that these things even if they were true do not matter when two persons are in love.

It is evident that Sania’s family was convinced of his innocence, both in the cricket allegations and those leveled by the Siddiquis. But the culmination of the Siddiqui saga showed that they too were both worried and concerned. Thirdly, another question which arose was that Ayesha like Sania belongs to a very respectable family of Hyderabad. It is hard to believe that any family of that kind of background would have come out in the open and made false claims. The body language of her parents and of family friends was consistent with their claim. The hurt, the anguish and the anger all came to the forefront vividly. They escalated the matter by going to the police and it was obvious that they were not going to allow Shoiab to get away so easily.

Inzamam ul Haq

Inzamam ul Haq Biography
When it comes to classic run-outs, massive sixes and bulky strokes, only one name is associated to these cricketing traits and that is of Inzamam-ul-Haq. A man with a dominating presence and cricketing instinct to die for, Inzy as he was fondly known, was one of the best in business. At a time when Inzamam was still finding his feet in international cricket, former great Imran Khan rated him as the best batsmen in the world against a solid pace attack.

With a magical willow and thumping effect, Inzamam scored at a prolific rate all throughout his career. Be it against the fast bowlers or against a spin attack, Inzamam was gifted with amazing footwork and placement skills. His 329 against the New Zealanders is rated as one of the best Test innings played by a cricketer. However, the sleeping giant got caught in a rough run with his willow, but he did not count himself out and made a massive comeback into international cricket scoring an unbeaten 138 against Bangladesh in Multan, soon after the poor run in the 2003 cricket World cup.

Recognized for his composure, Inzamam was sure to lead his nation some day and so he did. Who can forget the match against England, where Inzy and his Men forfeited the Test after umpire Darrell Hair docked five runs for ball tampering. When Pakistan was eliminated from the 2007 World Cup, followed by the mysterious death of Coach Bob Woolmer, Inzamam announced his retirement from international cricket in 2007. One of the greatest batsmen churned by Pakistan, Inzy fell agonisingly two short of Javed Miandad's record for the highest Test aggregate by a Pakistan batsman.
